An unpatched SoF only supports a screen aspect ratio of 4:3. _sp_cl_vid_mode_9 and _sp_cl_vid_fov cvars in-game, or edit those cvars in your user/config.cfg file. Delete the widescreen menus, because they will interfere with the improved version that's in SoFplus.

The patch and widescreen menus below are not needed anymore. SoF on widescreen displays Note: can now be used to change your resolution and FOV. The only change I made compared to the original fix is that the HUD '16' value is not changed to '0', but '12', so now the HUD is lower and more centered, which is closer to the original look.

HUD fix Go to (game install directory) base and copy and overwrite the therest.pk3 with the one provided in this fix. You only need to do this the first time, later it will use the correct FOV even after restarting the game. Just press quick load(default F8) and it will change. IMPORTANT - When you launch the game for the first time after this change, it might happen that it still uses the old FOV. If you want 90(recommended for 16:10 resolutions) use cgamex86_FOV90.dll instead, just rename it to cgamex86.dll.
The original FOV was 80, and in the edited file it is set to 95 which the original author recommended for 16:9 resolutions. FOV fix Go to (game install directory) and copy and overwrite the cgamex86.dll with the one provided in this fix.
